Bagworth - Have a great time at Oak Farm Park which is an inddor softplay with some outdoor activities. Great in all weather conditions, this is ideal for young children to slide, climb and play. Whilst there doing that, adults can enjoy the cafe.

Mini Monsters

Loughborough - Mini Monsters is located in the Rushes shopping centre, Loughborough and offers a superb indoor soft-play for young children and an onsite café.

The Jungle Club

Leicester - The Jungle club has a large soft play for children spread over 3 floors. There is a restaurant on-site as well as a bar and lounge for the adults.

Fuzzy Eds

Wigston - Fuzzy Ed’s is a children’s soft play ideal up to the age of 12. An indoor attraction split into 3 areas, a toddler and baby section, a child’s play area and a family dining area. Coffee and soft drinks are available to purchase.

Barneys Indoor Play

Coalville - A superb indoor play area for children over 2000sq ft of slides, climbing equipment and ball pits. While the children are enjoying themselves, adults can enjoy the café complete with homemade food. Free onsite parking is available to customers.

Mini Monsters Softplay

Oakham - A superb indoor soft play area in Oakham, kids will love all the activities and facilities available which include the long wavy slide, spider web and climbing nets and so much more. For younger children there is a specific under 2’s area with a small slide and toys.

Rockingham Castle

Market Harborough - Rockingham castle was built on the instruction of William the Conqueror and is the formal residence of James Saunders Watson and his wife Elizabeth. Take a tour of the castle and the grounds.

Belvoir Castle

Grantham - Belvoir Castle is located on a 16,000 acre estate, made up of farmland and woodland. Explore the castle and grounds, which date back Norman times, although the castle has suffered damage through the years which is told in it's history. It was partially destroyed during the war of the roses and again during the English civil war, the structure you see today was completed in the early 19th century. Ashby de la Zouch Castle

Ashby de la Zouch - Ashby de la Zouch has been given a grade 1 listing and the ruins are a splendid site. The building was given a 'Castle' status back in the 15th century, but the history of this structure dates back as far as the 12th century.

Heath Manor House

Coalville - Heath Manor House, otherwise known as Donington le Heath Manor house. Learn through a history of the building and see how life was in the medival and Tudor times.

Did you Know...

In August 1485 Richard III spent the night before the Battle of Bosworth Field at the Blue Boar Inn. It was his last night alive, and his body was brought to Leicester afterwards. In fact his skeletal remains have been discovered under a Leicester car park. The car park stands on the site of the former Choir of Greyfriars Church where Richard, the last English king to die in battle, was hastily buried.

Watermead Park

Leicester - Located just north of Leicester city is Watermead Park. This is a very large park which consists of lakes, ponds, woodland and grassland. There is a lot to do here and relax amongst nature. Take the family and play games, or take a gentle stroll through meadows.

Bradgate Park

Linton - Enjoy the outdoors at Bradgate Park, regarded as one of the top outdoor attractions in the region. Plenty of deer roam the park, there are lots of pathways and walks as well as large open spaces to enjoy.

Charnwood Forest

Leiceter - Charnwood Forest covers over 16,000 hectars, enjoy the open environment, away from the hustle and bustle of inner city life. Take your time to stroll around and explore with family or friends, why not take a picnic and enjoy the outdoors.

Rutalnd Water

Rutland - Rutland Water is a large Resovoir in Leicestershire, one of its most iconic features is Normanton church museum which appears to come out of the water.

Leicester - Enjoy the open environment of Abbey Park, away from the hustle and bustle of inner city life. Take your time to stroll around and explore with family or friends, why not take a picnic and enjoy the outdoors. Foxton Canal Museum

Foxton - See the history of of canals at Foxton. The museum is in a historic corn mill on the grand union canal, see films, collections and displays about Britains waterways and how they affected the lives of people living near by.

Jewry Wall Museum

Leicester - The Jewry Wall Museum in Leicester shows the local history of the area with artifacts from Roman, Medievil and even iron age times. The Museum itself is on the site of some impressive Roman Baths.

King Richard III Discovery Centre

Leicester - King Richard the 3rd was killed during the battle of Bosworth fields In Leicestershire in the year 1485. In August 2012 a team from the University of Leicester found his remains buried in a car park. Learn about his life and legacy at the King Richard iii discovery centre. Learn how he was found and see exhibits including the 3d facial recognition of the King, come face to face with an historic monarch.

Bruningthorpe Aviation Museum

Lutterworth - The Museum has celebrated more than 30 years since opening and attracts visitors from all over the country and suitably based on the site where heavy bombers were constructed during the 2nd world war. Located in Lutterworth, you’ll be able to see all kinds of aircraft including jets from the cold war and a sea harrier. Snibston Discovery Museum

Coalville - Snibston discovery museum is a great day out with something for the whole family to enjoy. Kids will have a great time with the interactive exhibits; you’ll find planes, trains, fashion, toys and much, much more.

Gorse Hill City Farm

Leicester - Located on the outskirts of Leicester, Gorse Hill City Farm gets you up close to different farm animals including sheep and goats. A small farm, but excellent for young children. Feed some of the small animals.

Congo Crazy Golf

Leicester - Enjoy 18 holes of crazy, Congo River fun. As you go round you’ll face all kinds of obstacles including bridges, tunnels, twists and turns, great fun for the whole family.

Wistow Maze

Wistow - WINNER OF LEICESTERSHIRE'S "BEST VISITOR ATTRACTION" Wistow Maze is located between Leicester and Market Harborough and is a hedge maze spread over a large area. You’ll enjoy getting lost amongst intricate pathways, bridges and an activity fun-yard. Part of the East-Midlands lies the county of Leicestershire. Over the last few years there have been some exciting discoveries, one of the most famous was finding King Richard iii, learn about his life and legacy at the discovery centre. Just 2 miles from the city of Leicester is the National Space Centre, the whole family will have an out of this world experience here.
