St. Michaels Mount

Marazion - St Michaels Mount known locally as the 'Mount' is one of the most popular tourist attractions in Cornwall. Depending on the tide, you can access the Mount by foot along a causway or take a boat trip. St Michaels Mount is steeped in history, Originally the site of a Benedictine Chapel, the spectacular castle on the rock dates from the 14th Century.

Helston - Made even more famous by the 'Poldark' TV series, visit one of Cornwall's most important heritage sites and the inspiration behind the show.

Tintagel Castle

Tintagel - Built in the 13th century, Tintangel Castle overlooks the sea and is now home to sea birds and wildlife. Walk around the ruins of this once remarkable building.

Lanhydrock

Bodmin - This 1620 palace looks like it's been rooted in the Cornish soil for ever, but a fire in 1881 almost obliterated the interiors. It was owned by the Robartes family for 250 years until it was given to the National Trust in 1953.

Pendennis Castle

Falmouth - See a Tudor gun deck in action complete with the sights and sounds of battle. An interactive exhibition will show you what life as a garrison solder was like. See a WWI Guardhouse and cells where you can pretend to be an imprisoned soldier! Kids will love the castle tunnels, the big guns and magazine at Half Moon Battery and experiencing a war time raid.

Lizard Lighthouse Heritage Centre

Near Helston - Lizard Lighthouse was designed to guide ships safely towards the English Channel and is still a working lighthouse today, it was built in 1751 and stands 19 metres tall. See over 250 years of lighthouse history.

Lands End Visitors Centre

Penzance - The visitors centre has plenty of attractions for the family including Greeb Farm, Arthur’s Quest, The 4D Film Experience and the new for 2015 Aardman presents: The Shaun the Sheep Experience.

Tredinnick - Great for younger children, the park includes animals, rides and attractions.

Holywell Bay Fun Park

Newquay - Great fun for all ages, try the F1 go-karts, or for younger children the Kiddy Karts are great. Battle boats and bumper boats, a fiendish maze, shooting range, trampoline, crazy golf and much more, including a fabulous 18-hole pitch.

Trebah Gardens

Falmouth - Treban Gardens is a wooded 25 acre sub-tropical ravine garden. Plants from all over the world have been carefully planted to make this area of Cornwall one of the most beautiful. The award winning Visitor Centre houses a distinctive restaurant with a Mediterranean-style terrace, plant and gift shops.

St Colomb - Screech Owl Sanctuary look after sick and injured owls and animals. There's loads to do at the sanctuary, the staff will educate you on the different species during your trip you'll see emu's, racoons, alpaca's and much more.

The Camel Centre

Helston - The Camel Centre is home to camels and hand-reared Wallaby's. Walk the farm trail, explore the Nature Reserve of Goonhilly Downs and see the animals roam in large open spaces on the organic farm.

Newquay Zoo

Newquay - Newquay is proud to be home too this fantastic zoo. On site you'll see over 130 different animals and species. Keep and eye out for the keeper talks and animal feeds which take place throughout the day.

Blue Reef Aquarium

Newquay - During a trip to the Blue Reef Aquarium you'll see lots of exotic species of ocean wildlife including sharks and turtles. Keep an eye out for the spectacular coral reef display's and have fun watching the feeding sessions.

National Maritime Museum Cornwall

Cornwall - Come and explore The National Maritime Museum in Cornwall. The whole famly will learn about some historic maritime events of our past in a beautiful location. Climb the lookout tower for great views accross the bay and out to sea. Try your hand at sailing a radio-controlled boat up and down the pool, or race around a course. Staff will help you understand how to sail into, or away from the wind.

Landsend and Visitor Centre

Penzance - Experience the culture and excitement of Landsend, see the furthest point West in Great Britain, maybe stop of for a drink at the 'First and Last Inn: Sennen, with it's breathtaking views out to sea. Since the 17th Century they’ve been a welcome haven to smugglers and ship wreckers. Thankfully the smugglers are long gone.
