Woodbridge - Orford Castle is located a short drive north of Ipswich in Suffolk. Built in 1173, the castle stands proud and offer’s fantastic views across Orford Ness. Explore the castle and learn its rich history, some of the rooms are set out in traditional style; a maze of passages will take you through the chapel, kitchen and other chambers. You’ll also get the chance to look through displays in the upper hall including Roman brooches, medieval seals, coins and borough regalia.

Saxstead Green - Saxtead Green Post windmill is a 13th century corn mill in Suffolk which has been restored and is a grade 1 listed building. As you explore the building you’ll see the machinery and learn how it was used to support the community centuries ago. This is a very interesting day out for the family and you’ll get real insight into the life and times of a mill worker.
