Located just outside the houses of Parliament and Big Ben in Central London, Westminster Abbey is an impressive site with its gothic architecture. The nearest tube stations are St James’s Park (District and Circle lines) and Westminster (Jubilee, District and Circle Lines).

 

Although the Abbey can boast almost 1000 years of history, one of the more recent events really captured the hearts of a nation, in 2011 Westminster Abbey was location for the wedding between the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.

 

Burials in the abbey include Sir Isaac Newton, Charles Dickens and Charles Darwin.
